How would you feel if you were kicked out of a hotel after your payment? Before moving on, I would like to address the definition of a school. School is a place where students learn, socialize, and have fun. Furthermore, unlike public schools, KIS students pay around $25000 a year to come to this school. However, KIS prohibits students from staying after school is over. What kind of system is this? This is unreasonable and students should have the right to stay after school to have a place for students to work on their group projects, to get help from teachers, and to socialize with friends.
Most of the group projects at KIS deal with creating I Movies or some sort of presentations. If school is prohibited for students to use the facility, students must meet up at one of their houses. This is not a great idea because students may live apart from each other and will take most of the time going and coming back to places. Especially, if the project is due on weekdays, it just ruins students schedule for other subjects. Instead, if students gather at school, they could easily do their work after school and go home using the after school bus. There have been numerous incidents where students stayed after school to do their projects. It is possible for students to just stay after and fool around. However, students are not that foolish. The pressure of getting good grades will motivate students to actually get on task and work on the project within the scarcity of time.
Education is the first priority of attending a school. If a student is falling behind class or has sport events that will make them miss classes, they should have time out side of class to ask for help to their teachers. Although lunch time is available, most teachers have duty and time is limited. It is not fair for these students to not get extra help. Therefore, there is one and only solution, staying after school. It is a great opportunity for both the student body and the admission to achieve their goals. Students can benefit from learning and the school benefits from students doing well on their standardized tests or other measures.
Let’s go back to the old days when we stayed after school and played soccer or hanged out with our friends. It was time for us to build friendship and time for us to get to know each other. By restricting staying on campus afterschool, it limits students’ use of the facility for their social gatherings. For example, students can prepare for a dance practice or a friendly soccer match after school. This not only helps the students to reinforce their extracurricular activities, but it also provides students a place to have fun.

Because the church people continuously integrate, they build a fine relationship. Thus, KIS students should also have the opportunity to build good friendships through activities using school space. However, if school puts too much emphasis on supervision, then students will be like robots that are controlled by human beings. Growing up as individuals and getting ready for the real world requires students to have freedom. A survey from group of teachers show that students actually learn more from their own mistakes than school teaching them what to do. At times in life, one has to make a choice. If one were under supervision every single time in one’s life, one would have difficulty in making the right choice. It is okay to make mistakes in life, but when is the most important factor. Students, if they do make mistakes, should make them earlier in life so that they do can avoid making wrong choices in the future. Therefore, students should be given freedom to stay on campus and start making their own choices to grow as an individual.
